You're not here because you've given up on yourself.

You're here because you've been showing up for everyone else so hard, for so long, that you've lost the thread back to you.

You're the woman who shows up. For your workouts, your family, your work, your people — every single day. You're strong. And you're exhausted in a way that a good night's sleep doesn't fix.

You've built a whole life of doing.
This is four days of being.

Get on the List

It's not a spa weekend. It's not a race either.

What The Wild Exhale Is

Four days in the Sonoran Desert with a small group of women who move, who push, who get it — and who are quietly ready to stop white-knuckling their way through life.

You'll move. You'll breathe. You'll laugh harder than you have in months. You'll sit in stillness that actually feels good instead of guilty.

You'll eat real food that fuels you. Not a diet plan, not restriction — just nourishing meals that remind your body what it's like to be taken care of.

No alcohol. No cannabis. No numbing out in any form. Just clear heads, real food, and the kind of clarity that only shows up when you stop drowning out the signal.

And on the last day when you drive away, you won't just feel rested.

You'll feel like you again.

Peoria, Arizona — At the Foot of the Sonoran Desert

There's a reason women have been walking into the desert for thousands of years to find themselves.

The scale of it silences the noise in your head. The air sits differently on your skin. The saguaro cactus have stood here for centuries — rooted, unbothered, completely unbothered by whatever is on your to-do list.

The mountains don't ask anything of you. The desert doesn't care what's on your to-do list. Nature pulls you back into your body faster than anything else, and this landscape does it with a particular kind of power.

Wide open sky. Saguaro silhouettes at golden hour. Morning stillness that feels like it was made for you to breathe in.

Phoenix Sky Harbor is 30 minutes away. Easy in, easy out.

For local Phoenix women: yes, this is in your backyard. Come for the full immersion anyway. The magic lives in the in-between — late-night conversations with women who get it, waking up in the stillness, morning coffee before the world gets loud. You deserve more than a commute home.

Hike the Desert

5 to 7 miles through stunning Arizona terrain right at our doorstep. Shorter options always available. This retreat meets every woman where she is.

Roll Out Your Mat

Yoga here isn't a fitness class. It's a conversation between you and your body. Whether your mat is worn in or collecting dust, you belong in this space.

Move Together

Group workouts that'll make you want to high-five the woman next to you. Real bodies. No performance required. You'll surprise yourself.

Morning in the Desert

Desert air. Your breath. Your feet on the ground. Sunrise yoga as the mountains wake up. Stillness with coffee, tea, and a mountain view. Every single day starts here.

Sit With Yourself

Journaling that doesn't feel forced. Real conversations with women who get it. A sound bath and energy healing session that does something to your nervous system you'll struggle to explain, but won't stop talking about.

Go Deeper

Optional 1:1 self-care sessions available to add on — because some things need tending to that a group setting can't reach. More details coming soon.

Your Host

Heather Monthie, PhD

I've spent decades helping women (and men) perform at their best — and reconnect with themselves when life pulls them in every direction but inward.

I'm a performance and transformation coach, yoga teacher, and sound and energy healer. I don't just teach one piece of the puzzle. I work with the whole woman. Mind, body, and everything in between.

I understand how the world is built to pull your attention in every direction but inward. And I know what it costs you when it works.

The Wild Exhale is where all of that comes together. Four days and three nights to step out of the noise, back into your body, and remember what it feels like to be fully, unapologetically alive.

I'll see you in the desert.

Will You Be There?

This weekend isn't a luxury. It's what happens when a woman finally decides that she matters enough to show up for herself the way she shows up for everyone else.

The desert will be there. The mountains will be there. The women will be there.

The only question is whether you will be.

Yes, I Want to Be There

Questions You Might Be Asking Yourself

No. This isn't about green juice and vision boards. The Wild Exhale is built around real movement, real food, real stillness, and real connection — with no numbing agents of any kind. It's grounded, honest, and designed to actually work. Not to look good on Instagram.
The women who need this most are usually the ones who ask this question. Four days. Your family will survive. Your job will survive. The question is whether you can keep surviving the way things are right now. You've given everyone else years. You can give yourself four days.
Four intentional days — fully immersed, away from the noise, surrounded by women who get it — can shift something that years of trying to 'find balance' at home never could. You won't come back a different person. You'll come back more yourself.
Every activity has options for every body. The hike has shorter routes. The yoga meets you where you are. The workouts are challenging but not exclusive. This retreat is for real women with real bodies — not a performance.
